Christmas Lovers Have To Try This Extravagant Holiday High Tea In Sydney

There’s a Christmas-themed high tea happening in Sydney right now and it is too cute for words.

The brainchild of Australian pastry chef and all-round top chick Anna Polyviou, this Festive High Tea is being held at the Shangri-La Hotel Sydney until 5 January 2020.

For $65 per person for adults and $35 per person for kids, this two hour feast will surprise and delight diners of all ages.

The craziest thing about it? It features a life-sized carousel made of bloody GINGERBREAD!

It took Anna and her team 750kg of gingerbread, 300kg of lollies and 100kg of royal icing to make this bad boy.

The menu is nothing short of mouthwatering, with guests enjoying desserts like Christmas Baubles, Santa’s Cherry Pie and Tropi-cola Trifle, as well as scrumptious savouries and the fluffiest of scones.

And as an adorable finishing touch, each table gets its own mini Christmas tree, with a few edible presents nestled underneath it.

The presents include reindeer lollypops, ginger ninjas and golden honeycomb macarons. Yum!
