Hello and welcome. I’ve gathered you all here today to talk about a V.I.O. (Very Important Opinion) and that is this: Melted ice cream is 1000% better than rock hard, straight-from-the-freezer ice cream.
Melted ice cream has a sweeter flavor profile, and that’s the goddamn truth. It’s been scientifically proven in many studies* that this is, indeed, a fact.
It is also best consumed half-melted when you can get a little bit of the frothy, liquid cream in with a soft bite of nearly-solid ice cream. YOU KNOW IT’S TRUE.
And when you put ice cream on top of a fresh-from-the-oven dessert so that it melts? *CHEF’S KISS.* It’s a masterpiece. There is nothing better.
Remember when you were little and your bowl of ice cream looked like this? So you’d stir it up so that it was a soup consistency and drink it from the spoon? WASN’T IT THE BEST DAMN ICE CREAM YOU’D EVER CONSUMED????
